Porsche 911 993 Coupé Automatic
The Porsche 993 is the name that Porsche used internally for the version of the Porsche 911 manufactured and sold between late 1993 and early 1998. The 993 was the successor to the Porsche 964.
The 993 is the last of the Porsche 911 generation with an air-cooled boxer engine. Its successor, the Porsche 996, is equipped with a water-cooled boxer engine.
The entry-level model in the 911 range is of course the rear-wheel drive Carrera in the 993. In the beginning, the 3.6 liter boxer delivered 272 hp. Later (thanks to VarioRam) this became 285 hp. The 911 Carrera was available with a manual six-speed gearbox or a four-speed automatic ‘Tiptronic’. What this car has. It’s actually a cliché: but in principle you don’t need more than this for the true 911/993 feeling. It is the ideal Porsche 911: old-fashioned enough for the true classic feeling, but modern enough for reasonable reliability.
The car looks neat, has some stone chips here and there and the rims have some curb damage.
The car steers and drives well, the engine responds quickly and has been overhauled at the mileage of 184,000 kilometers.
